On Saturday and Monday, two people who I am friends with passed away. I will post the image of the final card when it's completed, but for now I'll leave you with a little information of what image it is and the colors I chose to use.

Copic Intermediate Certification

And now I am certified in the Intermediate level :) Yeah me! Now I just need to find time that I can devote to teaching people how to use their Copic markers. I did however hear that they are going to be coming out with 4 more classes, built into 2 back to back days, 4 hour sessions. Rumors are you will learn about using Copics to make unique backgrounds, one class is all about people, and there are 2 other classes which she did not talk about. I cant wait to see those classes pop up in Michigan :D Well now I have to get packed and head home so I can finish a report and go back to work on Monday :( such is life :D

Life as I know it now....

Okay so you all know that I got a job recently. Well I actually enjoy my job; I like my managers, and most of the staff… I did say most. Well that was until tonight, tonight I was “cornered” by a fellow coworker who asked me what I was doing. My response “my job” “what I was told to do.” Her response was well were you made into a manager? No, but I was told if you work in the box (Customer Service Desk) you manage the front of the store. Thus deciding breaks, making sure people go on them when they are decided and that people are working in their assigned areas. I was also told by the on duty manager to keep the 4some from gathering and chit chatting their way through the evening. To make sure that each of them were working in their assigned area, again I was informed basically that it wasn’t my place to do this, because I was not a manager. Well obviously the way I manage was offending her, because she informed me that I need to be nicer, and ask when people would like to take their breaks, or if they would like to take one. If I remember correctly its law that someone needs to take a 30min lunch break unpaid if you are working 6 or more hours. Oh and I’m also to bossy, I informed her that I have been a manager before and this was my managerial style from before, and I’m learning on “softening it,” she responded with a snide remark of some people have actually moved out of their parents’ house.

Can I ask, what does where I live have anything to do with how I manage a store? And may I ask, why would I move out of a RENT FREE residence?

So after she had her little snit, I continued to do my TASKS given to me by the MANAGER. She rejoined her little posy and had a gay old time talking loud enough for me to hear them but not enough to hear what they were saying. Yeah Me! My thoughts right now is, Can I actually find a different job and would it be worth my wild to actually look.

Short Story #2:A Legacy of Meotod

A Legacy of Meotod

It was a still and silent night, the inn wasn't busy just full. The inn smelled of smokey wood, over cooked food and a spring rain. It seemed weird to have a room smell of rain, but I could feel the damp air all around me. It took a while for my eyes to adjust to seeing in the dimly light inn. There in the corner was a thin bony man, hunched over his drink. As I watched him, I felt compelled to approach him, to talk to him, to tell him all of my secrets, my history and my sisters history.

Short Story In Works #1: Legend of Mariel

Before you, you see a small green dragon drawing in the dirt with a wicked looking dagger that is glistening with a small amount of venom. Slowly she looks up with a sparkle in her eyes. As she turns to you, she beckons you to stay and listen to her story, her history.

As you take a seat on the ground next to her, two other dragons run up to you. One is red, one green, and their features are very much similar. They look at you then their gaze shifts to the dragon with the dagger.

"Mariel," they shout, "are you telling your story?"

The first dragon, Mariel smiled, "Marque, Mora calm yourselves. We have a guest in the midst. I apologize for my brother Marque and my sister Mora."

The first green dragon smiled. She looked at the drawing on the ground and roared with disgust as she planted her dagger into the design. Then she picked up her dagger and applied a new coat of venom.

Smiling once again, she looks your way and says, "My name is Mariel, this is my story." She hugged her siblings and proclaims "this is our history!"

Okay... New!

So Here's Life in a Lemon Bowl Update....

It's been over a year since I was laid off at Borders... and Ive done some crazy things...

1: I applied for a degree in business management, my focus is management & leadership. I'll be attending South University, (online) but when I graduate I could walk in Savannah, Georgia with the rest of the class.
2: I applied for a job at the local Office Depot..

So here's me needing a lot of luck! I currently have no idea how I'm going to pay for school since the government seems to think I can contribute $4,000 this year and over $6,100 next year. So from now on, any little amount of money I have will be put into a school savings account.. and hopefully this job idea pans out.

Seriously WISH ME LUCK... Cause I'm going to need it!
